AMMONNEWS - Dozens of Mu'tah University faculty and employees protested Sunday morning in front of the university administration building in part of their open strike until their demands are met.

The protestors said that their strike will continue until the university meets their demands, which include restructuring salaries, pay employee incentive raises, and dispense the 5% pay raise from the parallel program funds, which the employees said was endorsed two months ago but have not been dispensed yet.

The demands also include payment of bonuses paid for technical specialists at the university.

The protestors threatened to block Mu'tah University president from entering the campus starting tomorrow, after charging that the university administration has ignored their demands.
