Ammon News - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Wednesday renewed its warnings to citizens amid the prevailing weather conditions, with scattered showers expected, potentially heavy for short periods and accompanied by thunder in some areas, increasing the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas.

The directorate urged the public to stay away from flood channels and valleys, avoid attempting to cross water accumulations, and exercise caution while driving, particularly in areas experiencing rainfall or reduced visibility due to fog and dust.

It stressed the importance of following warnings issued by the relevant authorities and calling the unified emergency number (911) when necessary.
