Ammon News - The three terrorists who carried out the terrorist attack in Karak are currently being treated in hospital, an informed source said on Monday.
The source, quoted by Al-Mamlaka TV without being named, added that one of the suspects is in critical condition, while the other two are in stable condition.
Security agencies arrested the perpetrators of the terrorist attack on Hamoud Church during a joint raid carried out in Karak city in the early hours of Monday.
In a statement, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said security agencies had managed to identify the location of the three terrorists responsible for what it described as a cowardly terrorist attack against Jordanian citizens at the church in the village of Hamoud, Karak Governorate.
The directorate confirmed that the three terrorists had barricaded themselves inside an abandoned house and refused to surrender. They opened fire on the security force, prompting officers to apply the rules of engagement until they were brought under control and arrested after all three were wounded. No members of the security force were injured.
It added that a number of firearms and ammunition were seized from the suspects after their arrest and a search of their hideout.
