Ammon News - US President Donald said on Thursday that something was going to happen regarding the Iranian conflict “fairly soon” amid fear of renewed escalation.

Trump also said that he doesn’t think that the US was negotiating with Iran.

“I think we are not negotiating,” Trump told reporters when asked about the status of talks. “We’re gonna have something one way or the other that’ll happen fairly soon. Most people seem to think it’s after the election, and we’re going to see what happens,” he added.

“We’re doing very well militarily and financially against Iran,” he told reporters.

His comments came amid heightened fear of a renewed conflict with Iran amid an anticipation for the upcoming Israeli elections and the US midterms.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had instructed the Israeli military to plan for resumed strikes against Iran earlier this month, according to sources cited by the Financial Times on Wednesday, but Trump reportedly objected to the idea.
