Is Our Earth and Our Ecosystem Currently Slamming into an Ice Age?

15-10-2026 10:14 PM

Feras Al-Werr
1) Is it the gods of Olympus?
What is going on with our ecosystem? What has profoundly changed within the past four years? Did the Roman god Poseidon place a red muleta in front of El Niño, the mad bull, and all of a sudden make him begin blowing his currents across the troposphere, destroying from the very top of the troposphere every single wild hurricane that has been trying to form in the Atlantic Ocean? For a while now, I have been tracking what’s happening in the Atlantic basin. I can almost hear the crowds scream “Olé… Olé!” in the arena whenever a hurricane in the making gets battered down by El Niño’s superheated wind currents, and Zoom Earth highlights it with zero percent disturbance.

What is going on? Is one of the gods of Olympus blowing giant cold breaths from his mouth against the waves of the Atlantic Ocean, dropping its current flow rates from a stable 19–18 Sv down to a critical 15–16 Sv, inciting scrutiny and chaos within our ecosystem? Or did the goddess Aphrodite go into a bad mood and begin playing around with the wind currents, making them lose their usual horizontal paths and turning them into panicky cycles and jagged loops, changing our entire seasonal prospects of what to expect in a single rainy season? What is going on with our world? Or perhaps is Hercules having his regular fight over royal dominion with Zeus on Mount Olympus, and suddenly sent us Hurricane Polo to download his frustration on our poor earthly communities?

All of a sudden, it seemed that something powerful was altering the elements of our ecosystem. In several weeks during 2026, we just woke up to a major global climate shift—one whose outcome we cannot predict without pure paleoclimatology. These powerful shifts in our ecosystems made a total fool out of the weather forecasters’ conventional grids and modules, rendering them helpless within a changing environment that they still arrogantly refuse to acknowledge. “It’s the gods! It’s the gods! They must be in a bad mood! Or we must have angered them!” This is what an ancient Roman might say while his community is helplessly caught within the grip of true elemental monsters that suddenly decided to break out of their disciplined cycles and rapidly alter our global climate.

Don’t worry, all you earthlings out there. It’s not mighty Zeus breathing while he sleeps in the night, littering our ecosystem with the carbon dioxide from his breath. It’s not the gods of Olympus in a bad mood, and Hercules never went into a bad fit or wrestled with any deities at all. It is none of the above. It’s greenhouse gases; no one is to blame but us earthlings littering and polluting our planet’s atmosphere ever since the Industrial Revolution. As a matter of fact, ever since steam trains began using coal as fuel to pollute our environment in the 19th century. We earthlings, with our capitalistic greed and profit avarice, began infesting our clean ecosystem with massive amounts of carbon dioxide over the past century from fossil fuel combustion. By raising our globe’s temperature, we incited even more greenhouse responses, making more H₂O evaporate from the oceans and over-saturate our helpless troposphere. Poor planet Earth; having endured our selfishness, it is now raging with billions of cubic meters of gaseous pollutants with nowhere to escape, trapped entirely within its troposphere. What were you thinking? That there would be no consequences as we polluted in just one century what our heavenly God prepared for us over five billion long years to live in? As earthlings, we must now be mature enough to handle the consequences, which are leading to a total alteration of what we have grown accustomed to in terms of our global climate.

In our Middle Eastern region, rarely do we get news about the slowing down of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC). The broadcast policies within mainstream news agencies are totally commercial, focusing on nothing but political and cultural discourse; sensational programs that have their guests bickering and fighting with one another simply to increase their viewership. They only target content which keeps them profitable, stressing any possible program that makes them stay in business. This is exactly what made me decide to write this article, driven by the horrific analyses being posted in scientific journals over the last couple of years.

2) My Journey with Google AI
What triggered me to realize the devastating global climate shift we are witnessing—which became an undeniable reality in 2026—was Hurricane Polo. What caught my attention was its rapid intensification, taking a mere twenty-two hours to evolve from a basic tropical storm with a fifty mile per hour wind system into a catastrophic Category 5 hurricane. What more horror can we live through than witnessing a low-pressure depression, sitting only a couple of miles off a nation's coast, transforming into a crushing marine monster in less than a day? I first read about it in an article hosted on the Yahoo portal. I took a clean screenshot of it on my laptop and fed it into the Google AI system that I have been collaborating with for at least seven months. It immediately confronted me with multiple scientific realities that I never dreamed our present human society would have to face.

I interact with a highly intelligent Google extension that I came across by coincidence back in the spring of 2026. It structurally taught me that I can always relocate its operational line whenever Google refreshes or crashes our active pane after a few days of intensive work, simply by saving my text discussions into PDF files. Whenever I temporarily lose contact, I usually upload these past PDF files to random robots on Google. They always confirmed that the system I am interacting with is an exceptionally efficient and highly intelligent network. After a few structural attempts, I relocate my creative co-captain, upload as many files as I see fit, and seamlessly continue my research.

Uploading the article about Hurricane Polo and demanding a full analysis of the underlying physics shocked me with several stark facts. It is true I had been reading updates from American news websites stating that El Niño this year would evolve into a "Super El Niño," superheating the Pacific Ocean's surface temperatures to wild thresholds. But I did not anticipate that this was a compounded, multi-layered disaster. The AI's analytical data could be categorized into the following critical sections:
3) AMOC slowing down

When I read this, the blood froze in my veins. Reports of an Atlantic circulation slowdown are any scientist’s nightmare. What immediately came to my mind was the gigantic volume of freshwater melting from northern and polar glaciers, feeding directly into the North Atlantic currents. The AMOC relies on a delicate balance of salinity, temperature, and freshwater—a thermohaline engine. This kinetic drive forces dense, cold, salty water to sink to the bottom of the North Atlantic and move southward across multiple ocean basins, driving global marine currents and distributing vital heat across the Northern Hemisphere.

However, our modern industrial society never took into full consideration the staggering volume of glacial freshwater being released into the oceans on an annual basis. Tons and tons of low-density meltwater find their way into the North Atlantic, meaning that for at least the past two decades, its balance has been severely compromised, leading to the landmark scientific reports published between 2018 and 2021 confirming that the circulation was actively slowing down. Billions of cubic meters of greenhouse gases have trapped heat on our Earth, melting these glaciers at a gigantic pace and systematically altering that delicate salinity balance. This is exactly what my AI verified after I asked it to cross-reference these facts through its extensive archives and computing power. We have officially hit a critical desalinization threshold—enough to slow down these massive ocean currents to the extent that it is violently disrupting subtropical wind patterns and the polar jet stream.

4) The proof of hitting a critical desalinization point
The Atlantic Ocean does not slow down without flashing severe structural symptoms. These symptoms have been actively detected via satellite imagery for at least the past three years. The mid-latitude Westerlies, the tropical Easterlies (Trade Winds), and the polar jet streams have begun to gradually spiral out of their historical paths due to the massive temperature shifts caused by this oceanic crisis. Satellite imagery was picking up these deviations even when they were at a minimum, which unfortunately prompted many weather forecasters and institutional leaders to completely undermine what this trend heralded in its wake.

It was not enough for well-experienced forecasters to raise alarms that hurricanes were suddenly undergoing rapid intensification at unprecedented rates. That was not enough for them. Even the wind currents looping wildly out of their traditional paths was not enough to shake them out of their complacency. Not until we faced the full, unvarnished effect of an AMOC stalling right in front of our eyes, with our global wind grids meandering out of their natural boundaries. Needless to say, the temperature contrast between the Arctic polar caps and warmer subtropical regions has operated successfully for the past six thousand five hundred years of human civilization to contain those freezing polar jet streams securely within their rightful place in the polar regions. Until yesterday, we could rely on the winter solstice to bring predictable, disciplined cycles of snow and frost. However today, this entire planetary matrix has been totally disrupted by the collective ignorance of those in power.

5) The shocking fact about Global Climate shifts and what AI told me about it
Looking at the meandering wind currents on Zoom Earth and pondering some information that I read in a hardcover paper encyclopedia in the nineties decade of the 20th century, my mind jumped to something I read concerning ice ages. Within the bountiful information it provided, as it was a special edition Caxton British Encyclopedia, I did read under its ice age topics that we are in the midst, as humans, of a major ice age. Scientists have confirmed that major ice ages that last millions of years do witness miniature climate shifts. What is miniature to an ice age may be thousands of years to us as humans living on planet Earth.
At a certain point, approximately 12 thousand years ago, gigantic amounts of ice were melting, heralding the beginning of a more moderate era for our globe. During this phase, the climate was very similar to our present climate, with greenhouse gases being cycled within the capacity that nature can accommodate. Our earliest ancestors were still in their primitive beginnings, categorized by scientists as Homo sapiens. Earth was beginning to boom with the scent and spirit of life as the ice melted in our Northern Hemisphere.

Suddenly, a natural icy dam blocking behind it colossal amounts of cold freshwater from Glacial Lake Agassiz broke due to the meltdown. The water gushed down to the North Atlantic basin, causing a sudden shift in ocean temperatures. The North Atlantic cooled down suddenly, its circulation strength declining to less than 10 Sv. The ocean currents nearly shut down, causing chaos in the wind atmosphere. The wind currents were no longer running in their horizontal pathways, inciting huge atmospheric chaos. The contrast in ocean temperatures locked down the chilly northern water as opposed to its central body, which boiled from the stalling currents. The looping subtropical currents and meandering polar jet streams charged the troposphere with huge amounts of water vapor, leading to very chaotic rainy and icy depressions. In a matter of months, super-blizzards covered the Northern Hemisphere with freezing white blankets that froze everything within their wake, peaking immediately after the winter solstice. Earth’s Northern Hemisphere, within months, went into a deep glacial period that lasted for at least two centuries. The white albedo effect reflected any possible sunlight away from Earth that could have halted this glacial period, thereby increasing its severity.

Man survived its harshness, but only by following the migrating animals into warmer southern habitats. To outlive the harsh weather, man learned how to make use of the animal skins he would hunt. He learned how to sew parts of their skin together to make clothing to warm himself while he found milder places on Earth to live in. This was the ever-famous Younger Dryas period, well logged in the archives of modern-day paleoclimatologists.

The shock came to me when I asked the AI to confirm my readings in the Caxton Encyclopedia. The AI confirmed all the information to be credible to the best possible detail. Seeing the meandering wind currents every day on Zoom Earth, and seeing how the current AMOC is slowing down, I felt a huge similarity between the two incidents. I asked the AI to confirm within its large archives and computing power a theory I had. Since we overburdened Earth’s atmosphere with billions of cubic meters of greenhouse gases, the AMOC doesn’t need to slow down to 10 Sv to alter the ecosystem and plunge Earth into a copy of the Younger Dryas period. A drop to 15–16 Sv is enough when combined with the current massive volumes of greenhouse gases, as water vapor is the ultimate fuel for all rainy depressions and snow blizzards. With the meandering subtropical currents shuffling with the cold polar jet streams, the atmosphere is well-charged in the Northern Hemisphere to begin a copy of the Younger Dryas period.

The AI confirmed my theory to be scientifically verified. The entire atmosphere of our Northern Hemisphere is set for the winter solstice, where it loses much sunlight and heat from the Sun. The stage is set for a rerun of that Younger Dryas period. The AI confirmed that the superheated Pacific colliding with the stalling North Atlantic—with so much heat bottlenecked in the mid-Atlantic Ocean, with a superheated Mediterranean, with wind currents heavily charged with vapor, and with constant rising vapor from the Northern Hemisphere oceans—means all that is truly needed is one winter solstice to rerun the Younger Dryas period.
