Ammon News - Captain Ayman Al-Harahsheh, an officer at the External Patrols Department’s Operations Room, said Wednesday that external patrols caught a vehicle traveling at speeds ranging from 100 to 210 km/h on the Azraq-Zarqa Road.
Al-Harahsheh added that external patrols continue to monitor dangerous and moving traffic violations, particularly excessive speeding. He stressed the importance of drivers adhering to posted speed limits, traffic rules and right-of-way regulations, and avoiding violations that endanger road safety.
He noted that traffic is active on most external roads, particularly vehicles traveling from the northern governorates toward the capital, Amman, and in the opposite direction. Traffic is also active on the Desert Highway and Airport Road, with no significant traffic obstructions reported on these routes.
Al-Harahsheh explained that traffic is also active on the Development Corridor, the Adassiyeh-Naour Road, the Mafraq-Zarqa Road, and the Amman-Zarqa Road. He also noted the movement of freight vehicles in the Hasa area heading south and toward the capital, Amman.
