07-10-2026 02:25 PM

Ammon News - Secretary-General of the Ministry of Labor, Dr. Abdul Halim Dojan, announced the ministry, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate (PSD), will conduct "intensive" inspection campaigns targeting all economic sectors and activities nationwide.

Dojan added that the crackdown aims to apprehend non-Jordanian workers in violation of effective regulations, including domestic workers, who have not regularized their status, in accordance with the Labor Law and the Law on Residence and Foreigners' Affairs.

According to a ministry statement issued on Wednesday, Dojan noted that the inspection rounds will commence tomorrow, Thursday, and will be conducted periodically during both morning and evening shifts.

Speaking during a meeting with the director and staff of the ministry's Central Inspection Directorate, he stated each inspection team will carry out tasks in a different governorate and will wear body-worn cameras and iris scanners to accurately identify and apprehend workers violating labor market regulations.
