Ammon News - Rain began falling across several areas of the Kingdom early Tuesday as Jordan was affected by a weak state of atmospheric instability.

The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) urged residents to exercise caution during the weather conditions.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said many areas of the Kingdom are experiencing light to moderate rainfall, requiring drivers to reduce their speed below the posted limits.

It warned drivers, amid the atmospheric instability and the first rainfall in several areas, of slippery roads.

The PSD stressed the need to drive with extreme caution on roads experiencing rainfall and to remain alert due to reduced horizontal visibility caused by fog over high mountain areas or dust in the Badia regions.

It also emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe following distance due to slippery road conditions.

Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Wednesday, reaching around their seasonal averages. The weather will be moderate in most areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with some clouds appearing at various altitudes.
