Ammon News - A Palestinian girl and a young man were killed and 10 others were injured on Sunday as a result of Israeli attacks in the south of Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said six-year-old Suha Mohammed Nasser succumbed to injuries sustained after being shot by Israeli forces inside her family's displacement tent in Wadi al-Salqa, south of Deir al-Balah.

Meanwhile, Palestinian young man Saqr al-Qaisi was killed when an Israeli drone struck a vehicle in the vicinity of the al-Hawouz area in the city.

Israeli forces also continued artillery shelling in the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The latest death brings the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began on October 11, 2025, to 1,446, while more than 5,060 have been injured. The bodies of 835 Palestinians have also been recovered since then.
