Ammon News - Ministry of Labor announced on Thursday preliminary figures from the status regularization period granted to migrant workers by the Cabinet from June through the end of September.

Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Al-Zyoud said more than 152,000 migrant workers regularized their status during the four-month period by obtaining new work permits.

More than 1,192 migrant workers obtained work permits for the first time, he added.

Al-Zyoud said the number of issued and valid work permits has risen to more than 352,000.
