Ammon News - A government source confirmed to "Ammon New" that municipal elections will be held next spring.

The source said there was no truth to reports that the elections would be postponed until September.

While the government is legally entitled to set the election date according to circumstances, the source, whose remarks were supported by another source at the Independent Election Commission (IEC), said the elections will be held in the spring and that the government is not considering postponing them.
