Ammon News - Events in Amman, September 15 – 18, list courtesy of 7iber.com @ http://www.7iber.com/2010/09/events-amman-september-15-18/

Happy Eid from all of us at 7iber. We hope you enjoyed it and had some good time off.

It seems the holiday is extending a little bit for our events calendar, as there isn’t much happening until the middle of the week. Wednesday is when it picks up again: the Royal Cultural Center has a series of concerts and performances, Bayt Al Ruwwad is back in action after a break during Ramadan, and the Jordan International Tango festival kicks off on Thursday with an exhibition and tango performance at Jara Cafe followed by a number of performances in Jerash, the Dead Sea, and Wadi Rum.

Another major event this week is two concerts by British-Iranian Muslim singer/songwriter Sami Yusuf, whom the BBC called “the king of Muslim Pop”, at the Amman University Arena on Thursday and Friday.

More action is in store next week with Amman’s International Book Fair and the European Film Festival, so keep an eye on this space next Sunday.

7iber’s event calendar is in collaboration with Waw Al-Balad Magazine.
