AlShaeb Roasters branch in Al-Wehdat area was robbed last night after thieves forced open its safe and stole the money inside.
According to details obtained by 'Ammon News', the thieves disabled the surveillance cameras before carrying out the robbery. They managed to enter the premises, break open the safe and steal everything inside, despite the safe having a steel door.
The thieves used electric cutting machines to break the safe loose.
They also removed and stole the surveillance cameras installed inside the branch and disconnected their equipment.
Following the incident, local merchants appealed to Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya to intervene swiftly to secure the area and protect businesses from theft and potential risks. They said the method used in the robbery indicates that the perpetrators were skilled at bypassing electronic surveillance and alarm systems, posing a threat to their commercial interests.
