Ammon News - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs condemned the attempted targeting of Mecca with a drone launched by the Houthi militia, describing it as a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, a flagrant breach of international law, and an unacceptable act that undermines the status and sanctity of Mecca and offends the sentiments of Muslims worldwide.

The ministry’s official spokesperson, Ambassador Sufyan Qudah, affirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
