Ammon News - The Northern Military Zone thwarted an infiltration attempt by four individuals on Saturday evening along one of Jordan’s border fronts after Border Guard forces detected them while they were attempting to cross the border illegally.

The forces immediately responded in accordance with the established rules of engagement and successfully apprehended the infiltrators before they could enter the Kingdom. The individuals were then referred to the relevant authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.

The Jordan Armed Forces affirmed that Border Guard units continue to carry out their duties with vigilance and determination as part of their responsibility to protect the Kingdom’s borders, safeguard its sovereignty, and confront any infiltration attempts or illegal activities that could threaten national security and stability.
