Ammon News - Under royal directives, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Majdi Al Harasis on Monday instructed the Royal Jordanian Air Force, in coordination with the Royal Medical Services, to dispatch an aircraft equipped with a specialized medical team to evacuate 11 Jordanian citizens injured in a road accident in Egypt.

The commander of the Royal Jordanian Air Force Medical Service said the injured had received the necessary medical care in Egypt, adding that their conditions ranged from moderate to critical, with eight sustaining moderate injuries and three suffering critical injuries.

The injured will be transferred to King Hussein Medical City in Jordan to continue their treatment and receive specialized medical care according to their health conditions.

The medical evacuation, carried out under royal directives, reflects the commitment to ensuring the safety of Jordanian citizens and standing by them under all circumstances, while mobilizing the capabilities of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army to serve them wherever they may be.

Families of the injured expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, commending the efforts of the armed forces in following up on the situation of Jordanian citizens and providing them with support and care, particularly during emergencies.

The operation underscores JAF's humanitarian and national role and its continued commitment to supporting Jordanian citizens and strengthening medical care and evacuation services whenever needed.
