Ammon News - A fire broke out at furniture shops and a front yard containing foam and fabrics covering an area of 200 square meters, before spreading to a vehicle parked at the scene in downtown Amman on Sunday, according to a security source.

The source told "Ammon News" that specialized firefighting teams from the East Amman Civil Defense Directorate managed to extinguish the blaze, which produced heavy smoke due to the nature of the burning materials.

No injuries were reported in the incident, the source said, adding that the relevant authorities will launch an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
