Ammon News - Temperatures are expected to rise over the next two days, peaking on Wednesday before gradually easing toward the weekend, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Tuesday will see temperatures around seasonal averages, with mild weather across the mountainous areas and plains. Hot conditions will prevail in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, while low clouds are expected in some areas. Winds will be moderate and northwesterly.

A further rise in temperatures is forecast on Wednesday, bringing relatively hot weather to most parts of the country. The Badia will be hot, while very hot conditions are expected in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Moderate winds will shift between northwesterly and northeasterly.

Temperatures will edge lower on Thursday, with mild weather returning to the highlands and plains, although hot conditions will continue across the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Low clouds are also expected, while winds may become active over desert areas during the afternoon.

The cooling trend will continue into Friday, when pleasant weather is forecast across the highlands and plains. The Badia and low-lying areas will remain hot, while low clouds are expected over northern and central regions.

Tuesday's temperatures are forecast to reach 33 degrees Celsius in East Amman and 31 C in West Amman, with highs of 30 C in the northern highlands, 29 C in the Sharah highlands and 33 C across the plains.

Highs are expected to reach 36 C in the Badia, 40 C in the northern Jordan Valley and Aqaba, and 41 C in the southern Jordan Valley and at the Dead Sea.
