Ammon News - The personal photo will no longer appear on digital driving licenses displayed through the "Sanad" application under a new update introduced by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate’s Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department.
The change, approved by the Licensing Department, means users will rely on the photo shown on their digital civil ID in "Sanad" when verifying their identity as the license holder.
According to a ministry statement issued Monday, the digital civil ID is the approved identification document for verifying the holder’s identity, eliminating the need to display the personal photo again on the digital driving license.
The ministry said the update is part of efforts to simplify the presentation of digital documents and facilitate their use, providing citizens with a clearer and easier experience when accessing their documents through "Sanad."
