Ammon News - The Northern Military Zone on Wednesday morning foiled an infiltration attempt by five individuals along one of its border fronts within its area of responsibility after they tried to cross the border illegally.

Border Guard forces detected the individuals during their attempted crossing and applied the approved rules of engagement. The five were arrested and handed over to the relevant authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.

The operation reflects the high level of readiness and constant vigilance maintained by the Border Guard Forces in monitoring the Kingdom’s border fronts and firmly confronting all infiltration and smuggling attempts. The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army affirmed that it will remain the nation’s shield and protective fence, continuing its duty to safeguard Jordan’s security and territorial integrity while dealing with any attempt to undermine its security and stability with firmness and resolve.
