Ammon News - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has warned motorists against driving in convoys in a manner that obstructs traffic, causes vehicles to leave their lanes, or puts passengers at risk, as university graduation celebrations and the announcement of the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) results are set to begin on Monday.

The PSD said that violating the regulations on driving in convoys could result in the vehicle being impounded for up to one month and a fine of up to JD100. The fine will be doubled if the same violation is repeated within one year of the date of the initial offense.

Also, the directorate urged citizens to celebrate safely and responsibly, warning against blocking roads or firing guns.

It stressed that public safety remains a priority, calling on citizens to express their joy in ways that protect everyone’s safety and preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the celebrations.

The Ministry of Education will announce the 2026 General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) results for Grade 12 students on Monday, August 10, starting at 4 p.m., through the designated results website.
