03-08-2026 01:37 PM

Ammon News - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, dispatched a new humanitarian aid convoy to Syria on Monday carrying 32 mobile housing units as part of the Kingdom's ongoing relief efforts.

JHCO Secretary General Hussein Shibli said the convoy comprises 16 trucks transporting 32 mobile housing units (caravans), describing the shipment as part of Jordan's continued humanitarian support for the Syrian people.

He said the convoy reflects Jordan's longstanding commitment to delivering organized humanitarian assistance to the communities and areas most in need across Syria.

Shibli noted that, in coordination with its partners, Jordan has continued to dispatch relief convoys carrying food supplies, humanitarian aid, medicines, medical equipment, flour, food parcels, ambulances and mobile housing units.

He said the continued assistance underscores Jordan's humanitarian commitment, extending beyond emergency relief to supporting recovery efforts and promoting stability in Syria.

Since December 2024, Jordan has sent 23 humanitarian aid convoys to Syria comprising 1,072 trucks as part of its ongoing efforts to address humanitarian needs and support the Syrian people.
