Ammon News - The director of the Jordanian Seismological Observatory (JSO), Engineer Ghassan Sweidan, confirmed that the earthquake that struck Iraq near the Iranian border was detected.
Sweidan told "Ammon News" that the Jordanian observatory recorded an earthquake last night at 11:27 PM Baghdad time, on the Iraqi-Iranian border.
He added that the earthquake was at a depth of 55 kilometers and measured 4.5 on the Richter scale.
