Water Authority detects water violations in Muwaqqar, Karak

Ammon News - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Water Authority, has detected new violations on water conveyor that were illegally drawing water to fill tanks in Muwaqqar District, south Amman, and in Karak to supply agriculture ponds and sheep farms.

The Ministry explained that the campaign resulted in the detection of several violations on 300- and 400-mm diameter pipelines that were illegally drawing water to fill tanks in Muwaqqar District.

In Karak, five violations were detected to fill large ponds with a capacity of 500 cubic meters and a large sheep farm. The connections were disconnected, and the situation was rectified, and the necessary reports were filled.

The Ministry affirmed that it will continue its duty towards citizens and protect their water rights in accordance with the provisions of law.
