Ammon News - The Public Security Directorate said early Thursday that a report was received by the Central Amman Police Operations Room regarding the body of a young woman found lying on the ground in downtown Amman.

It added that police officers immediately responded to the scene and found that the woman had been stabbed.

Her body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Center at Al Bashir Hospital.

The suspect and the murder weapon were seized, and investigations have been launched ahead of referring the case to the judiciary.
