Ammon News - The official spokesperson for the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army stated that Jordan's air defenses intercepted and shot down five missiles launched from Iran toward the Kingdom in the early hours of Thursday, in accordance with pre-prepared defensive plans.

The spokesperson confirmed that the interception operations were carried out efficiently and professionally, successfully thwarting the attempted attack on Jordanian territory without any reported casualties.

He stressed that the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army continue to fulfill their duty of protecting the Kingdom’s airspace and safeguarding its security and sovereignty, while maintaining the highest level of readiness to deal firmly with any threat targeting the nation’s security and the safety of its citizens.
