Ammon News - A responsible military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army stated that Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft intercepted and shot down two drones on Monday morning that targeted Jordanian territory.

The source confirmed that the interception and downing operation resulted in no human casualties or material damage.

The source added that teams from the Royal Engineering Corps moved to the locations where the debris fell, handled the remains, and secured the sites in accordance with approved technical and security procedures.

The source stressed that the armed forces continue to monitor Jordan’s airspace and maintain the highest levels of operational readiness to deal with any threat targeting the Kingdom’s security and the safety of its citizens.
