Ammon News - The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has announced a temporary closure of the top of the "station bridge" to traffic in both directions, for the purposes of carrying out maintenance work on the expansion joints, ensuring the maintenance of public safety and the sustainability of the infrastructure.
The GAM indicated that this temporary closure will begin at 1:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, and will continue until 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18.
It explained that traffic will be diverted during the closure period as follows:

-From Zarqa towards Amman: Under the station bridge until reaching the traffic light, then continuing straight on the road to reach Army Street (downtown).
The Traffic Operations Department of the Greater Amman Municipality calls on drivers to adhere to traffic diversions and field instructions, and to cooperate with traffic controllers and personnel present at the site, in order to preserve the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of everyone, stressing that the bridge will be reopened immediately after the completion of maintenance work.
