Ammon News - A military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army stated that Jordan’s air defense systems intercepted and shot down eight missiles launched from Iran toward Jordanian territory on Thursday.

The source said that the interception operations resulted in the fall of missile debris in several areas, but no injuries or material damage were reported.

The Jordan Armed Forces are closely monitoring ongoing regional developments and remain at the highest level of readiness to protect the Kingdom’s airspace, defend its sovereignty, and safeguard the integrity of its territory. The source emphasized that Jordan will not allow any violation of its airspace by any party under any circumstances, according to the source.
