Ammon News - Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani said on Thursday that air raid sirens were activated by the Public Security Directorate (PSD) a short while ago after Jordanian airspace was breached by missiles launched from Iran.

The missiles were intercepted and dealt with successfully, Momani added.

In a Post on X, Momani confirmed that the Jordan Armed Forces remain fully prepared to respond to any threat facing the Kingdom and are dedicating all efforts to safeguarding national security and the safety of citizens.

Momani noted that the relevant authorities will provide citizens and residents with the necessary guidance and information, urging everyone to follow official instructions and refrain from spreading misinformation.
