Ammon News - A campaign carried out on Sunday by inspection teams from the Internal Control Unit of the Water Authority resulted in the detection of water violations committed by several households that had illegally connected water lines to fill tanker trucks.

The violations were removed, the illegal connections were disconnected, and official reports were prepared to complete the necessary legal procedures.

The campaign was conducted in coordination with the Water Basins Directorate, the Ain Al-Basha Water Directorate, and the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority stressed, in cooperation with the relevant enforcement agencies, that it will not tolerate any violations that infringe on citizens' water rights, emphasizing that such illegal practices remain among the most significant challenges facing Jordan's water sector.
