Ammon News - A person sets himself on fire in Jerash Governorate on Sunday, after a labor dispute with his employer.

Eyewitnesses told “Ammon News” that the person set himself on fire in protest against labor measures.

Civil defense and security services rushed to the site to deal with the incident, and the person was immediately transferred to the hospital, they added.

A security source confirmed to “Ammon News” that the person poured petroleum on himself this afternoon in the commercial center in the city of Jerash and burned himself.

He said that the injured person was taken to Jerash Governmental Hospital and his condition is under treatment.
