Ammon News - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has called on pedestrians to use designated crossing areas, such as bridges and pedestrian crossings, when crossing streets and roads.

In a statement issued on Wednesday morning, the PSD said it had dealt with numerous pedestrian-vehicle collision incidents over the past few days.

The PSD stressed the importance of avoiding standing dangerously close to the edge of the road and urged pedestrians to remain on sidewalks and ensure the road is clear of vehicles before crossing.

Also, it called on drivers to adhere to speed limits and traffic regulations, avoid dangerous violations, and give pedestrians the right of way, especially in residential areas.
