Stable summer weather to continue through Friday

Ammon News - Stable summer weather is expected to continue through Friday, with temperatures remaining close to seasonal averages across most regions despite slight fluctuations later in the week, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Forecasters said Tuesday will bring mild summer conditions to most parts of the country, while relatively hot to hot weather is expected in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds are forecast to become active at intervals and may raise dust in desert areas.

Weather conditions are expected to remain largely unchanged on Wednesday, with seasonally mild temperatures continuing across the highlands, plains and other populated areas. Hot weather will persist in the Badia and low-lying regions, while moderate northwesterly winds are expected to strengthen occasionally.

A slight increase in temperatures is forecast on Thursday, although the overall weather pattern will remain stable. Mild summer conditions are expected to prevail across most regions, while hot weather continues in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

Conditions on Friday are expected to remain similar, with comfortable summer weather across most areas and persistent heat in desert and low-elevation regions. Northwesterly winds will continue to blow at moderate speeds, occasionally becoming active.

Tuesday's temperatures are forecast to reach 30 degrees Celsius in East Amman and 28 degrees in West Amman. Highs are expected to range between 25 C in the northern highlands and 26 C in the Sharah highlands, while the plains are forecast to reach 30 C.

The highest temperatures are expected in the country's southern and low-lying areas, with forecasts pointing to 35 C in the Badia, 37 C in the northern Jordan Valley and at the Dead Sea, 38 C in Aqaba and 39 C in the southern Jordan Valley. Petra
