Monday .. Stable summer weather continues across most regions

Ammon News - Temperatures are expected to remain close to seasonal norms through Thursday, with only slight day-to-day changes as stable summer weather continues across most parts of the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Forecasters said Monday's temperatures will be in line with the long-term average for this time of year, bringing mild summer conditions to most regions. Hot weather is expected to persist in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, while moderate northwesterly winds will become active at times.

A slight drop in temperatures is forecast on Tuesday, although weather conditions are expected to remain largely unchanged. Mild summer weather will continue across most areas, while the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba will remain hot.

Little change is expected on Wednesday, with mild conditions prevailing across the highlands, plains and other populated areas. Moderate northwesterly winds are forecast to continue, occasionally strengthening during the day.

Temperatures are expected to edge slightly higher on Thursday, but the increase is not expected to significantly alter the overall weather pattern. Mild summer conditions will continue across most regions, while hot weather persists in the Badia and low-lying areas.

Monday's temperatures are forecast to reach 32 degrees Celsius in East Amman and 30 degrees in West Amman. Highs are expected to range between 27 C in the northern highlands and 28 C in the Sharah highlands, while the plains are forecast to reach 32 C.

The warmest conditions are expected in the country's desert and low-elevation regions, with temperatures forecast to reach 38 C in the Badia and at the Dead Sea, 37 C in the northern Jordan Valley, and 39 C in both the southern Jordan Valley and Aqaba. Petra
