Ammon News - The Jordanian field hospital "Tel Al-Hawa" in northern Gaza began receiving patients and providing medical services Monday after being reinforced with specialized medical and technical personnel across multiple disciplines, enhancing its capacity to meet growing healthcare needs in the Gaza Strip.
The hospital's commanding officer said the facility's specialized clinics, emergency department, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, general surgery, general medicine, and pharmacy are fully operational as part of an integrated healthcare system designed to deliver comprehensive medical services to patients.
He said the expansion of the hospital's operational capacity continues the humanitarian and medical efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army to alleviate the suffering of Gaza's population and provide essential health services under the exceptional conditions gripping the territory.
The commander added that the hospital is functioning at the highest levels of readiness and efficiency through its medical, nursing and technical staff, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of treatment and humanitarian services to patients.
The move falls within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's ongoing efforts, directed by His Majesty King Abdullah II, to support the Palestinian people through all forms of medical, humanitarian and relief assistance aimed at alleviating suffering and strengthening their resilience in the face of current challenges.
