Cybercrime Unit warns of fake social media pages

Ammon News - The Cybercrime Unit warned citizens on Sunday, about fake pages on social media, stressing that they are like a "hunter looking for a victim."

The unit urged people not to fall for fake links and unrealistic online offers, and emphasized avoiding sharing bank details or personal information, as well as not clicking on unknown links.

It also called on citizens to report any suspicious accounts and not to share or spread their content.

In case of falling victim to fraud, people should immediately contact the Cybercrime Unit through its official channels, it added.
