Ammon News - The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities praised the United Kingdom’s decision to update its travel advisory for citizens traveling to Jordan, reaffirming that travel to the Kingdom is safe and reclassifying most of its regions as safe destinations.

The ministry said the British update reflects the level of security and stability enjoyed by Jordan, and strengthens the country’s position as a safe and attractive tourist destination for visitors from around the world.

The British Embassy in Amman welcomed the return of British citizens to Jordan for tourism and investment purposes, urging those wishing to visit the Kingdom to follow updates on the official UK government website and make use of available consular services and support, the ministry added.

The ministry emphasized that the decision is a positive indicator that will boost European market confidence in Jordan’s tourism sector, supporting the industry as tourism sites and facilities remain fully prepared to receive visitors amid the country’s high levels of safety and stability.
