Ammon News - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) released an official briefing Tuesday detailing a fatal shooting incident from the previous day, refuting online narratives attempting to justify the suspect's deployment of a firearm against civilians and responding law enforcement personnel.

The PSD media spokesperson stated that active investigations, eyewitness depositions, and statements from all primary actors – including the suspect’s son – contradict claims of a long-standing history of cross-complaints between the disputing parties.

According to the case file, responding units initially noted a minor neighborly dispute two days prior, which concluded without any official police reports filed. The conflict resurfaced yesterday, escalating into a physical altercation. The suspect then produced a firearm and discharged multiple rounds indiscriminately into the crowd. The gunfire fatally wounded a bystander who was attempting to break up the fight and was not an active party to the dispute.
