Ammon News - Jordan and the Czech Republic discussed expanding cooperation in agriculture, investment and technology transfer during talks between Agriculture Minister Saeb Khreisat and Czech Ambassador to Jordan Andrea Kucerova.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Agriculture on Thursday, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation across several agricultural sectors and exploring opportunities for joint investment and technical collaboration.
Khreisat said the longstanding relationship between the two countries provides a foundation for advancing cooperation in agriculture and supporting shared economic interests.
He added that Jordan offers a favorable environment for agricultural investment and called for greater cooperation between public and private sector institutions in both countries, particularly in agricultural trade and production.
The minister highlighted opportunities for collaboration in plant and animal production inputs, agricultural research and extension services, stressing the importance of partnerships that support sustainable agricultural development.
Andrea Kucerova said the Czech Republic is keen to deepen cooperation with Jordan, particularly in the agricultural sector, through the exchange of expertise, technology transfer and the promotion of joint investment projects. Petra
