Ammon News - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority carried out a major security campaign on Monday morning, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the Public Security Directorate, in the South Shouneh area to detect and fill illegal wells and remove repeated encroachments on water sources.

The campaign resulted in the discovery of two illegal wells, which were raided and filled in, with all violations removed. Official reports were prepared and the case files were referred to the relevant authorities to complete legal procedures.

The authority affirmed that its campaign and enforcement efforts will continue across all regions, expressing appreciation for the support of the Public Security Directorate—especially West Balqa Police, Central Badia Gendarmerie, Kafrein units, all officers and personnel—as well as citizens who report such violations.
