Ammon News - Israeli occupation forces erected a military checkpoint today at the entrance to the western countryside of Bethlehem Governorate.

A local source told our correspondent that the occupation forces erected a military checkpoint in the “Shouli” area on the main road leading to the towns of Battir and Nahalin and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin. They stopped and searched vehicles and checked the IDs of Palestinian citizens, causing a severe traffic jam.

It is worth noting that the occupation forces have recently escalated their intensive security measures against the western countryside through frequent closures, especially within single population centers, as was the case in the village of Husan.
