Ammon News - The External Patrols Department of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Tuesday revealed the cause of the desert highway crash that led to the burning of a fuel tanker and three trucks on Monday, following the completion of investigations.

Authorities said the accident was caused by the fuel tanker driver’s failure to take necessary road safety precautions, resulting in the tanker overturning and veering from the southbound lane into the lane heading toward Amman.

The crash sparked a fire that engulfed the tanker and three trucks.

The driver of the tanker sustained moderate injuries and was transferred to Al-Totanji Hospital for treatment.
