Vehicle caught driving at 204 km/h

Ammon News - The Traffic Department announced on Sunday that a driver was caught on the Zarqa–Azraq road after exceeding the speed limit of 100 km/h and reaching 204 km/h. Legal action was taken against the driver.

In statements to Amen FM, the department said it had dealt since the morning with several traffic obstructions and took the necessary measures to ensure smooth traffic flow.

It also stressed the importance of checking vehicles before departure, noting that it deals almost daily with broken-down vehicles that cause disruptions.

It further warned against entering tunnels if a vehicle is suspected to have a malfunction.
