Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone thwarted early Thursday morning an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics using a drone on its western border, within its area of responsibility, in coordination with military security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND).
After the drone was detected by border guards, rules of engagement were applied, and it was shot down inside Jordanian territory. The seized narcotics were then handed over to the relevant authorities.
