Ammon News - The Jordan Seismological Observatory (JSO) announced on Thursday that it recorded an earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale, located 180 km from the capital, Amman.
In a statement to "Ammon News", the JSO said that the tremor struck southwest of the Lebanese city of Zahle at 3:10 a.m. on Thursday, at a depth of 5 km.
It confirmed that the quake is considered a minor, non-impactful event, though residents in nearby areas may feel it without any significant effects.
