Ammon News - US President ​Donald Trump has ​no justification to deprive Iran of ​its ‌nuclear rights, ⁠the Iranian Student News ‌Agency quoted Iranian President ⁠Masoud Pezeshkian as saying, ​as Washington ‌and Tehran continue to face disagreements over ‌nuclear issues.

"Trump says ​Iran cannot make use of its nuclear ​rights but doesn't ​say for ​what crime. Who is ​he to deprive a nation of its rights?" Pezeshkian ⁠was quoted as saying.

Iran's parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said on Saturday night that progress had been made in negotiations with the United States to end the war.

The sides were still far from an agreement, Ghalibaf added.

"We are still far from the final discussion," Ghalibaf, who is also one of Iran's negotiators, said in a national televised address, adding "we made progress in the negotiations, but there are many gaps and some fundamental points remain".
