Ammon News - The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) stated that the number of reports received by the Engineering Corps of the Armed Forces, Civil Defense personnel, and police last week regarding falling debris and shrapnel in most governorates reached 64.

In a joint statement issued on Saturday, with the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, the spokesperson confirmed that during the fourth week of the war, one member of the personnel handling the debris sustained moderate injuries and is receiving the necessary treatment.

Some material damage was also reported in various parts of the Kingdom, he indicated.

The spokesperson further noted that the total number of projectiles and shrapnel falling since the start of the conflict has reached 478, while the total number of injuries has risen to 25, all of whom have recovered except for the most recent injury.

The spokesperson also clarified that the material damage since the beginning of the conflict includes 25 vehicles, 55 homes and shops, and 14 public properties.

The spokesperson reiterated the warning against gathering around, approaching, or tampering with any suspicious object or fragments due to their inherent danger. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the advice and instructions issued by official authorities to citizens and residents.

He urged everyone to report any suspicious object to the security services via the emergency number 911, stressing the importance of following instructions, relying on information from official sources, and refraining from spreading rumors and misleading news.
