Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of narcotics using a drone on its western border within its area of responsibility on Monday.
The operation was carried out in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department.Rules of engagement were applied after the drone was detected by border guards and shot down inside Jordanian territory.
The seized narcotics were handed over to the relevant authorities.
