Ammon News - Jordanian officials said that the American planes and equipment are deployed in Jordan as part of a defense agreement with the United States, according to New York Times.
The Jordanian officials said they hoped negotiations between the United States and Iran lead to an agreement that would prevent war in the region.
Over the past month, officials from Jordan — as well as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates — praised the talks and said they barred attacks on Iran from their soil.
